Leila Peak, the most stunning mountain in the Karakoram, is situated in Ghandoghoro valley, while K-6 and K-7 are well-known summits found in the Charaksa river glacier in Hushe valley. Though not as difficult as the Masherbrum Peak base camp trip, both trekking routes are easy to moderate. Compared to the Ghandoghoro Leila Peak trip, the K-6-7 route is more peaceful and less frequented. Both routes have the same first day of hiking up to Shaicho camp. Next, the left path leads to the Khiuspang Lela Peak location in the Ghodhogoro Valley, while the right path leads to K-6 and 7. Climbing to Khiuspang provides a confined perspective of K-1’s Leila Peak. The base camp for the Hushe side of Ghandhgoro Pass is Khiuspang. Possessing the K-6 and K-7 treks will also allow you to view the peaks of Link Sar, Drifica, and Kapora. Our cost and schedule are the same for both trekking routes; however, if you would want to do both and ask us to do it in one go, there will be an additional fee of USD 290 and an additional three days added to the current schedule.

FAQ

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

Which currency is most widely accepted on this tour?

– Euro (EUR)
– Dollar (USD)

Should I book pre/post tour accommodation?

If Karakoram Highlanders cover all expenses from the start to the end of the tour, including accommodations, then booking pre/post tour accommodation may not be necessary. In such cases, travelers can rely on the tour operator to arrange accommodations for the entire duration of the tour, including any nights before or after the main itinerary.

What is cancellation policy?

If we fail to provide you the trip (completely or partially), under unexpected situations which is not in our control.
